GenConnect was founded by youth who noticed that there was an increasing and concerning disconnection between seniors and youth in their community. They took action into their hands, and empowered by a team of non-profit mentors, they set out to create a solution. GenConnect is a space where people take time to listen and understand each other, even if they normally would not in other settings. It is a space where people can feel a sense of family and belonging, even if you don't come from the same lineage. At GenConnect, we've made it possible for seniors and youth to support one another, even if it's through a simple conversation.
